Injection B-Lean

Centre for Advanced Medicine

B-Lean Injection –  Carbohydrate metabolism

Supplies Vitamin B12,  the active form of cobalamin, and Vitamin B1 (pyruvate dehydrogenase)

Benefits of B-Lean

  • Helps the body metabolize fats and protein
  • Helps the body convert carbohydrates into fuel (energy)

B-Lean contains:

Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12): is used to help speed up overall metabolic processes and create a greater feeling of overall energy and well-being.  It is required for the proper function and development of the brain, nerves, blood cells, and many metabolic processes.

Methyl folate (5-MTHF): This active form of folate is directly bioavailable, independent of genetic variants of folate dependent enzymes, directly lowers blood homocysteine levels and is the only form of folate able to cross the blood-brain barrier. There is no risk of accumulating unmodified folate in the body.

Pyruvate dehydrogenase (Vitamin B1) is an enzyme that catalyzes the reaction of pyruvate and a lipoamide to give the acetylated dihydrolipoamide and carbon dioxide. The conversion requires the coenzyme thiamine pyrophosphate. It helps the body convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which the body uses to produce energy, this B vitamin also helps the body metabolize fats and protein.
