Neurofeedback (EEG Biofeedback) is direct training of brain function, by which the brain learns to function more efficiently and operate at its full capacity and potential.

Neurofeedback is a type of brain training that focuses on restoring the brain’s resilience and flexibility by providing the brain with information about how it is functioning. The auditory cues in the training sessions encourage the brain to function differently and try new patterns of firing that are more adaptive. The brain is observed using a non-invasive technology that uses live EEG to read the brain’s electrical activity.

It is a “ground-up” approach, meaning that the brain is learning a set of skill sat a fundamental level and practicing them through the training so that it can eventually have those skills moving forward.
