Neural Acupuncture

Centre for Advanced Medicine

Acupuncture is a traditional therapeutic modality that has been confirmed by modern science that involves the insertion of thin needles into specific locations of the body. Treatments are individualized, based on each person’s concerns, and dysfunction.

Why use neural acupuncture?

Acupuncture stimulates the central nervous system, to increase the release of serotonin and opioid peptides. The release of these neurotransmitters, in turn, can manage conditions such as anxiety, depression and insomnia. There is also evidence, through MRI studies, that acupuncture aids in pain control.

How often do I need acupuncture?

Treatment is often provided weekly until symptoms improve.
